This apprenticeship programme for those who are in n the role of a Professional Accounting/Tax Technician will have responsibility for creating, and / or verifying and reviewing, accurate and timely financial information within the organisation.
Professional Accounting/Tax Technician include, but are not limited to, Assistant Auditor, Assistant Management Accountant, Payroll Manager, etc.
Typically T this apprenticeship is 18 – 24 months. They will be minimum 12 months on programme to go on end point assessment.
Level 2 Maths and English (equivalent to GCSE grade C or above), ideally as part of 5 GCSE A-C grades or other comparable qualifications.
They will complete a level 4 qualification on
AAT Level 4 – Professional Diploma in Accounting or Certificate in Finance, Accounting and Business (ICAEW CFAB).
Functional Skills: Apprentices without English or Maths at Level 2 must achieve this prior to the completion of the Apprenticeship.
End Point Assessment
Portfolio and reflective statement: Apprentices will produce and present evidences to showcase the key Knowledge, skills and behaviours that they have developed and demonstrated over the Apprenticeship.
Apprentices will also submit written statement, or reflect journal to reflect on how they have performed.
Awarding organisation will provide apprentice to tackle a series of business-related tasks through a simulation- case studies.
